RETRuly is a Vintage Marketplace, so what does that mean and how do we define Vintage?

Generally speaking, clothing which was produced before the 1920s is referred to as antique clothing and clothing from the 1920s to 20 years before the present day is considered vintage clothing. "vintage style" usually refers to clothing that imitates the style of a previous era. Reproduction, or repro, clothing is a newly made copy of an older garment. Clothing produced more recently is usually called modern or contemporary fashion. Although opinions vary on these definitions goods sold on RETRuly must adhere to this general definition.

This means that goods sold on RETRuly should be at least 20 years old. To maintain the integrity of the marketplace our team regularly review the listings and will remove any modern or "vintage style" items.
