A Pair Of 19th Century Wedgwood 'Clematis' Pattern Six Sided Covered Tureens


Circa 1860.


Two fabulously decorated tureens with Clematis flowers and bees in grey on a cream background. The tureens have an unusual hexagonal shape and elegant decoration on the handles.


Condition: one chip off the rim underneath the lid of the larger tureen.


These tureens date from end 19th, beginning 20th century and are decorated in the Aesthetic Movement's 'naturalistic' style.

The tureen is marked Wedgwood & Co with the unicorn logo and the pattern name, 'Clematis'.
