RETRuly is the first dedicated vintage marketplace. Our marketplace was created to provide a safe friendly community for vintage enthusiasts. The marketplace is managed by our dedicated team of vintage experts who are on hand to support you 7 days a week.
If you are seeing a PayPal message "We cannot process your payment right now, so please try again later" this is because your PayPal balance does not cover the cost of the order. To rectify this either:
1) Add funds to your PayPal account (this can take 3-5 days)
2) Verify your PayPal account by linking a card or bank account
3) Use PayPal guest checkout and pay by credit card
Contact the seller and request a return, they will explain their returns process.
All payments are handled through Paypal. You can either pay with your Paypal account or as a guest using all major credit cards.
We recommend you contact the RETRuly store directly. The store should be able to provide you with further information on your delivery.
If you have any problems with your order, please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If you can't resolve this with the seller please contact us.
All transaction on RETRuly are made directly between the buyer and the seller. All payments are protected by Paypal Buyer Protection. Buyer Protection should only be used as a last resort if cannot resolve any problems directly with the seller.
RETRuly is the first truly dedicated vintage marketplace, so when you list on RETRuly you are not competing with new "vintage style" products. Unlike other marketplaces RETRuly was created and is managed by a team of vintage experts with decades of experience as vintage sellers. This enables us to provide specialist and tailored support to our sellers that is not available anywhere else. If you are a new or established seller, the team are always available to help you make your store a success.
Our aim is not only to provide a new selling venue for vintage sellers but use our experience to help them maximise their sales.
We charge just £10 per month for a RETRuly store for an unlimited number of listings. When you sign up you also get a FREE 3 Month trial period. There are no listing fees. There is a 7.5% final valuation fee that is deducted from the proceeds of your sale.
RETRuly charges a 7.5% final valuation fee. Paypal will also charge a transaction fee (see your Paypal account for more information).
RETRuly encourages you to promote your store and items using social media as this will drive traffic to your store and will improve your sales.
The best way to maximise your visibility is to regularly list new items. It is also important that you use the search filters when listing your items as they will show up more frequently in searches. You also have complete control over you SEO so be sure to specify your tags when you list as this will help both on RETRuly and Google searches.

As a vintage marketplace your item either has to be original vintage clothing, accessories or homewares. We do not allow new "vintage style" items to be listed.
Holiday mode is a new feature available to store owners. This allows you to take time out without the customer expecting immediate delivery of orders.
Yes, we have a SALE function, enabling store owners to specify a discount and duration. If you decide to hold a sale, get in touch and we will help promote it through social media.
There is no limit to the number of items that you can list on RETRuly.
There are no specific size requirements for images but we do not allow text on the images or library photos. All photos must be your own and of the product you are listing.
In RETRuly you can set up shipping profiles so you can pre-define all your shipping options and apply them to all your listings.
We expect all sellers to provide full returns policy. As a minimum we would expect sellers to offer a 14 day returns window. All sales within the EU should also be compliant with the Distance Selling regulations. Please work with the buyer to resolve any disputes without them having to raise a dispute with PayPal. If you feel that the buyer is making unreasonable demands please report this to us.
EU sellers will be expected to refund the outbound postage but if the item was defective of not as described then the seller would be expected to refund the cost to return that item.
It is important that you maintain your inventory and remove any products that are no longer available. To do this simply go to account->Listings Manager and select "delete" from the drop down menu for that item. This item will no longer be displayed on RETRuly but will still be visible in google search but shown as "sold".
To process a refund, first refund your Paypal payment from RETRuly Ltd. for that transaction, then email us, quoting the sales ID number. so we can send the refund the customer. Please also email the customer to confirm that you have processed the refund.
